But creativity alone is not enough. It requires a deep understanding of how wood behaves under different conditions, familiarity with liquid glass and the various recipes that produce textures, colors, and shapes, and, of course, a lot of manual labor.

\nSelection of wood<\/strong><\/p>\n

[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”3774″ img_size=”medium” css=””][vc_column_text css=””]We choose olive wood because it is closely associated with Greece. We source it in Crete, Volos, or Corfu. We need to visit these places often to ensure we get the right wood.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/3″][vc_column_text css=””]<\/p>\n


\nThe wood is planed.<\/strong><\/p>\n

[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”3776″ img_size=”medium” css=””][vc_column_text css=””]After selecting the piece we will work on to create a wall clock<\/a>, a wine holder<\/a>, etc., the wood is “planed” not only to make it straight but also to bring out its grain and texture.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/3″][vc_column_text css=””]<\/p>\n


\nThe cut.<\/strong><\/p>\n

If something moves, we have to start all over again! Back to the plane!<\/strong><\/p>\n

The goal is to make it straight on both sides and have the same thickness throughout. It sounds easy, but it takes experience![\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/3″][vc_column_text css=””]<\/p>\n

Cleaning the wood<\/strong><\/p>\n

We’re crafting!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Finally, the oil<\/strong><\/p>\n
